Our initial season was a great year that saw the Houston Astros Dominate the NL and the Seattle Mariners Control the AL.  The two juggernauts clashed in a tremendous seven game world series which saw the Astros emerge as the innaugaural HABLA champions.  Highlights of the year include Troy O'Leary smacking 50 HR's, Bobby Witt tossing a perfect game, and Alex Rodriguez terrorizing AL pitchers.  Want to look at more?  Download the file 98season.zip

How can a great league get even better?  Well it did.  The talent rich initial pool of players started to make their own mark in our league.  Big Mac did what he did in real life in our cyber league, shattering Maris' record.  Also, greats from the legendary days of baseball came on the scene.  Christy Matthewson made his 'cyber' debut as he led the "San FranCisco" Giants.  Napolean Lajoie gave Boston a shot in the arm in their drive for the playoffs.  Houston made the playoffs, as did Seattle.  Would the champs be dethroned?  NY and LA repeated for divisional titles, and the AL saw a huge shift of power other than Seattle.  Included in this zip file are, the final league arc, highlights from the playoffs, Boxscores from all playoff games, including the world series, and final statistics all in html format.  All this can be yours with the click of a mouse button, and it's free!!! HABLA's third season was another stellar season.  Matt Mieske had a huge September to Blast Away Big Mac's Record.  Other hitters made splashes as four others from the league had over 50 HR's.  Some old faces returned to the playoffs.  Seattle, Houston, New York (N), and LA made their third straight playoff appearance.  Detroit, Cleveland made it two playoffs in a row.  Atlanta got back into the post season party, and CWS was the newcomer to the dance.  SF saw it's first .500 year, and Colorado had six players blast over 40 HR's.  There was also great pitching as 7 players won over twenty games.  The influx of rookie talent and young players started to change the face of HABLA.  All of this is available with the click of the mouse.  Download now 00season.zip.

The fourth season saw some new faces in the playoffs, but when the dice settled the perrenial powers, were left in the final fight.  While no one threatened the HomeRun Record this season was marked by an overall improvement in many teams offense.  Reggie Garay led the AL in batting, and Filiberto Forehand tied Big Mac in the HR department as many other new stars arose in HABLA.  Brady Anderson led the NL in HR's with 47 and many other favorite all stars had a year in the sun,  and finally a few more fond farewells were given.  LA fought its way into the playoffs despite numerous injuries, San Francisco made the postseason bash for the first time, and perrenial runner up, Minnesota took the AL Pennant chase to an extra inning game 7 as they were this season's "Cinderella Story".  Included in this arc are boxscores from all the Championship games and the World Series.  Download the01season.zip.

HABLA's fifth season saw some new faces starting to make the splash.  Teams that were always have nots became haves, as witnessed by the Expos defeating the Mets and Astros en route to a WS appearance against Seattle (some things never change). Ken Griffey Jr  had the MVP season everyone had expected for many years.  San Diego assembled one of the greatest staffs in the history of the game.  Jolting Joe and The Splendid Splinter made their rookie debut, but were outdone by a former 3rd round Ammy pick in the Rookie of the Year voting.  Don Drysdale won 20 before a crucial injury ended his bid for 25, and AL Cy Young winner Sean Spencer threw a late season no hitter.  The following teams markedly improved, Kansas City, Milwaukee, Montreal, and Texas.  Look it over the 02season.zip.

The sixth season for HABLA saw a resurgence of pitching as strong arms began to dominate the league.  Milwaukee made the post season dance as the Brew Crew came within an out of heading to the World Series.  However, Seattle prevailed and played an action packed World Series with a devastating Montreal Team.  Another rookie came out of nowhere to win the NL ROY award.  Jim Thome and A-Rod dominated all season in winning MVP honors.  Frank Rodriguez threw a late season perfect game as Minnesota battled Milwaukee all year for the AL Central Title.  Look it up yourself in the 03season.zip

Season seven was heaven for the Giants. The Giants capped off thier comeback by capturing the HABLA title in a tough fought seven game series victory over the Mariners. Manny Ramire continued to dominate the batting in the NL, and Earl Averell made a strong showing for the Rangers. Myles Tauscher recorded one of the most dominant seasons in HABLA history. A newcomer Rogers Hornsby made a bay sized splash in Oakland. You can look it up in the 04seasonzip.

HABLA's eighth season was marked by a return to the long ball. Offensive categories skyrocketted as Skipper Lamorte, Manny Ramirez, Kim Hirtz and Tim Salmon all belted over 50 home runs. The Mets finally ended a long post season jinx taking the HABLA title. It was a good year for the other NY team, as the Yankees finally netted an AL East title. The Astros held off a tough Redbird team in the NL Central, and the White Sox became the Bad Boyz of the Black 'N Blue AL Central. Look over the results with the 05season.zip.
